Hello Everyone,

Steve Heinrichs has asked me to respond to this photo. We believe it is the Sepp Greger 356 Pre-A 50424 which raced at 1954-55 races in Germany, Austria, Yugoslavia, France. We list Greger with this license plate at one race, September 1955 Yugoslavian Alpine Drive, although that is not necessarily where this photo was taken.

Our Old Swedish reg. Numbers
Plus a big "S"-weden
Standard Swedish military issued winter coats
Swedish snow
And I belive it looks like Prince Bertil of Sweden

Gregor Joseph looks a litle bit diffrent...enclosed a photo

Evening Vietta,

After talking to a Swedish Carrera Owner ( Sten S. ) who knows the old racers I was told that the Person in the picture is Kurt Aspelin and 356 registrated 1956-12-08.

Kurt raced it and then sold it to Arne Lindberg 1958-05-12.

It was later handed thru a lot of owners....after all it was an old outdated racer

Hello - Need some help on trying to identify the front license number on Carrera coupe no. 51 --- or maybe someone has another photo that is better. This is Avus-Berlin 1958. The Carrera Speedster no. 56 is driven by L. Blendl.

If I am right the car which interes you is the one of Hans Joachim Waltert

This car should be the same Hans Joachim raced in the 1959 Ostereichalpenfahrt with the plate number WZ V 12
After the 356 A 1500 Carrera Hans Joachim Walter had a BT 5 1600 Carrera with the plate number WZ CY 77
