This Fuhrmann engine is not the original engine who has desapeared the actual ex- wner having bought this car in 1994 fitted with a 2.0 L 6 cylinders engine
The 4 cams Fuhrmann was sold by the Porsche factory in 1997 in order to allow the ex-owner to race it in historical competition races
For those interestede the Fuhrmann engine is a 987/3 serie number P 99057 and comes from 904-059

After having retired from rallying he started an important car collection
He kept 904-104 from 1969 to 1994 where he had the opportunity to buy 904-025 the ex-Robert Buchet 904 (with a far more important race palmeres than 104) and not willing to keep 2 904 sold 904-104 to Jean Claude Miloe who became the 4th owner
