Spyder 550 550A

Whilst searching through instagram I came across this photo of a Spyder inside a house. By the looks of it, it is 550-13. I have never seen this car in a current collection - if I could only find out where and who??!!

Hi Andrew,
looks to me like it is exactly the same car in both photos.
It has the same damaged or bad repaired front.
Please look for example at the shape of the right front fender!

Interesting photo of a 550A which is supposedly at the Nurburgring in 1956 (but would be too early) - maybe von Trips as pilot. Can't find any record of the car or race. Usually the T in the number is for 'training' or practice car. The licence plate could be a Porsche Werks number. The same number is on 550A-0120 at the Ring in 1958, but it doesn't look like the same car - any help appreciated!

Thanks Justin - it is getting a lot of media exposure, so hopefully it will flush out a buyer. Found this cool photo of 550A-0121 at the Roskilde Ring - love the track! This is a parade lap - you can also see 550-0045, the Swedish car on the right

Need some advice..

I have the photoshoot for 550A-0121 coming up this week in the hills above Monaco, which is pretty exciting! Then I will finalise the website to promote the sale of the Spyder. I need to get as much exposure as possible to flush out potential buyers and I have made a list of classic car sites I follow but I really don't have anything for the European market. Can you guys please let me know which websites you follow, or would be suitable??

The web sites I use are this, 356 registry, ddk and piston heads sometimes. However, I'm not sure that many 550 buyers for your car are regularly on those sites?

There is a a chap called John Ruston who comes on DDK sometimes and is a serious collector. I would be happy to give you his email address. He is a no nonsense, straight talking chap and might be able to offer some inside into where/how to target the right buyers. neiledwardbardsley at googlemail dot com
