I've been asked in the welcome section to show some pictures of the mild restoration of my 58 A Carrera GT.
This car is already in my posession for more than 20 years and was bought in the 70's by my father. So in total it is in family posession for more than 40 years.
After a long race history from 58 to about 66 (Swiss and European championship) the car was not used anymore for racing.
The last race driver left the car in front of his workshop and my father took the chance to buy this wonderful car.
Due to several accidents there was a lot to do and the original engine was unfortunately removed.
In 74/75 it got its first resto with some modifications and a new painting (silver).
Now 40 years later I decided to bring the car closer to its original trim.
That means removing sunroof, fixing aluminium door, adjusting the front part, removing some modifications, interior, .....
Fortunaly there was absolutely no rust.
