    The Mxxxxxxxx registred coupe is with the old Swedish number sign, coming from the south area Malmoe. I recogized some of the chaps looking at it. Where did you find it?
    I wish I could stumble on to something like this today

        The first pic was taken in February 1953 during the Paris/Saint Raphael women only rallye somewhere in Italy not far from the French riviera
        Gilberte Thirion was very well placed in this rallye
        On a small road Gilberte was behind a very bslow small 4CV Renault of another women competitor and tried to overpass this car when another car was coming the otherway hence the accident
        It took almost 3 months to have the car repaired by the Porsche plant

          So we are in 1949 and ferdinand Porsche is back to liberty
          He went back to the Porsche family house at Zell am See and remembering he was the conceptor of the VW for Hitler and also of the VW based race car Berlin/Rome
