Its amazing the work that went into car #45 I got to drive that car when I worked at the VW dealer that Huffman owned when he had it... it was a really cool car. I had at that point owned my 65 911 for a year or so but his cars really started my love affair with tubs. Now I own two 356's and no 911's...

Thanks Pat! I watched that last night. They did an incredible job; what an undertaking. Watching it go down the road in sliver with its wheels covered really put me in mind of a flying Saucer.

Thanks for sharing Don, thats a great presentation by Rod. Very interesting.
Its ironic PCA invited him and did the video, as Rod eluded, he certainly remembers when 356 guys had to park in the dirt in the back.

Stumbling on this thread, I'd like to point out that when I, as a punk kid of 19 first joined PCA (when my everyday driver was a $500 Speedster), at the monthly meeting in the cigar-smoke-filled back room of a small restaurant.... we parked in the front of the back of the lot...the regular restaurant customers got the front of the lot. We hardly acknowledged those new-fangled 911 and 912 models, as we figured those just wouldn't last.... a fad....and they had to park wherever they could find a spot....like back with the employee cars.
