  • Having sold his Volvo Porsche, Lambert Dock started to build a second race car
This time he started from a shortened VW chassis with VW drive train at the front and a Porsche gear box and drive train at the back
The engine a Ford 1.6 L from a Cortina was at the back
The body was moulded by Edmond Perry the Apal boss who was just starting to produce buggies and cars
Lambert drive it during the 1963 race season and give it to race to Pierre Bonvoisin

                • Hi Porschinelle,
Very interesting regarding KTM in 1955, a very small company back then.
I rode a Penton, built by KTM, in the 1976 ISDT in Zeltweg, Austria, great machines that helped start KTM on their road to success.

                      • As you may see Frantz Albert never raced outside Austria except in 1962 when he took part to the Le Mans 24 hours race with a Simca Abarth 1300 becoming the second Austrian pilot to race the Le Mans 24 hours
Unfortunately the Simca Abarth was out quickly with gearbox problems

                          • Frantz Albert had move his father mechanical business into a special camshaft manufacture
Quickly he became famous and did supply special camshafts to Lamborghini
In the same time he was also preparing serie cars for racing
In 1964 and 1965 he drove a 356 Carrera in some Austrian events
During that period he had the idea to prepare for himself a Lotus 23 powered by a Fuhrmann 1.6 engine
This car is known as the Albert RS

                              • a 2.0 L engine
As prooved by the above pics the 1.6 engine is a Fuhrmann but I have not found any mention of what was the 2.0 L
                                Fuhrmann or 911 6 cylinders
On the below pic of the Albert RS 2000 the Fuhrmann is no longer visible
