    This is way you should carry spare pulley halves!

    Large bang from the engine bay. Red light on but the engine sounded ok. Thank goodness no real damage so I put the new halves on and continued on my way.

    "Here is a 62B coupe I lost in 1970.

    Snowing on new years, I was hit head on by a 68 Electra 225. Knocked me back down the road from which I came, then hit me in the drivers door, spun it around and hit it again in the rear and pressed me into a guard rail. We exited through the rear window. Unharmed, got away without a scratch.

    The coupe was totaled but it ran and would still drive, in spite of a exhaust leak. The passengers door popped open on the first hit and was the only straight body part on the whole car.

    The transmission tail of the Electra came through the floor in their back seat. It was about three feet shorter after the shunt, the front bumper was around the front tires

    Still have the engine and trans and most of the parts. Its was a fine ride.
