The Subaru flat 4 is based on the Borgward, who was one of Porsche's contemporaries so it is a german design. Not that it really matters. I say whatever floats your tub!

Thanks Erik, the engined turned parts are fantastic! I don't blame you for holding onto the bases. I have never seen them before.

That scooby motor is going to be killer...

S.J. Very nice fabrication job on that rain tray. The Carrera decklid is pretty cool too! The lid is alloy right? Like your S90 emblem on this T1 coupe.

Thanks again for posting these guys! More cool parts please...

        If were talking engines....

I run a 2332cc VW power plant and most if not all Porsche people hate me for it.

I'll try these again they didn't load last time. These came off a 912 we had. I took them apart and reshaped the bracket to fit the Speedster seats.

Erik, yeah the Subi is of German design and mine even has 911 cast in the top of the case!

Thanks for the updated pics with your new trans hooked up Brock! Looks killer!

I don't know who in thier right mind could hate that motor you have in your coupe Greg?? When I think of what is supposed to be in there to be factory correct I understand even less! Especially considering what it would cost to find and build an original correctly dressed engine. You could probably build your engine a couple of times over. Lets see do I want 50HP or 250HP?? Tough decision! Nice job on that engine, especially that fan shroud! Justin

IRS and wide 5 isn't so hard.

Theoretically any "small nut" brakes will bolt up with the proper bearing caps / backing plates.

I do IRS conversions with 5 x 205 brakes pretty often.
