NOS original Reutter badge still with its old P.O. package! In Gary's early days this was probably one of 30 hanging on a rack.

I have had these custom side curtains for so long I can't really remember where they came from just that they were in a box of parts in a car that wasn't a Speedster. They are well made sliding plexiglass and they fit exceptionally well. with the right weatherstripping they seal quite well. I have seen pictures of some like this before. Anybody where or by whom these were made? Thanks, Erik

Really nice quality windows Erik. Can't tell you who made them but alot of time was spent in fabrication. They look a little like the ones Fibersteel offers but you said these are very old right?
Thanks for posting them! BTW: don't forget to hit the "insert" button on your photos so they will display large. Justin

I was wondering what I was doing wrong. New computer, new camera, old analog brain. These side curtains are at least 30 years old. I've seen the Fibersteel's and they are similar. For all I really know the may be one-off customs. I have a few more pics

Those are nice! Great condition for being 30 years old. You just have to come up with a good perimeter seal and your all set. Justin

Thanks for posting Greg. A highly valuable option! BTW what really makes your interior is the quality of the stitching! The straight lines and crisp details in the pleating are fantastic! Who did this for you? A beautiful job for sure!! Justin

Autos International did the work for me. Again being new to the 356 interior scene I had no idea who they were. I only knew that they were within walking distance of where my car was at the time (Paradise Motorsports) and Porsche was their main focus.

When I laid my plans out for them they looked at me like I had 3 heads. Once it started coming together I think they started to dig it too. At one point they did a white headliner telling me all that red is going to be too much, my response was, that's the point...

We took these off an old coupe in the mid-70's. Well made and may be Haneline. They are engine-turned stainless and very well made. I turned down good money from 2 people at a holiday so they must be rare. Anybody ever seen any?

Erik ,I dig the turned parts!! Very nice!

I would guess the Subaru part sets my coupe apart from about 99.9% of the others....

Mr.Restomod, Isn't the Subie eng. in your coupe? How is that working out. My engine fantasies have alternated between a Subaru and a Honda Goldwing 1600...

The Trusty Coupe only has one, no, two trick parts (discounting the instrumentation and the Corvair bend on the shift lever). I will try to post a picture....

Hmmm. That didn't seem to work.

OK. That worked. Sadly, I bodged the order; maybe I can fix it.

This is a '59 GS eng. lid. It has no rain tray of its own, so after a couple decades of covering it with plastic (or moping up the engine after) when parked in the rain, I fabbed up the alloy rain tray also seen below. It attaches via the luggage rack mounts.
