    Hello,

    Long time VW enthusiast
    now a Porsche owner.
    1956 Coupe that need a lot of work.
    I am in the parts gathering stage.

    Hello Sven,

    Congratulations on your find and thanks for joining us here!
    Looks like a very interesting hull, the original floors and rear seat pan look surprisingly solid. Looks like it took a good hit to that left rear quarter and will require some effort to iron the frame back out. Do you know why the roof was clipped off? (roll-over wreck) Maybe it had a sunroof which was harvested...on second thought the floors are too nice for it to have had a Sunroof. Please start a build thread in the projects section and tells us more about your new find and plans you have for this car. We'll all be happy to offer advice along the way.       Do you need a roof clip? I've got a T5 which I think might be cut low enough to overlap where yours is cut. Not terribly far from you (NM) and get over to AZ a couple times a year.

        Yes, DG58INNM a roof is on the top of my list for need! lets talk...
        The missing roof and intact original floors are an interesting story.
        I will start a build thread with the history I have.
