Well Guys and Gals,
Last Saturday was a FUN day in RIVER CITY.
I have never been to a CARS AND COFFEE RICHMOND so the guys at the LUFTEKNIC shop convinced me that I should go EVEN if I had to get up at the crack of dawn.
I fired up the trusty Roadster and met Chris with his 1958 Speedster there. It was about a 28 mile junket up Interstate 95 over the James River to Regency Mall.
I imagine there must have been at least 300 cars turn out for this event.
Ferraris, Lambos, you name it in street rods etc.
So here are our 356s.
Robert who owns the shop brought his 1960 VW with the 356SC engine, the 1956 VW Bus with the 3.8 Porsche engine and project STUKA a 1979 911 with a Turbo 930 engine-full rollcage etc.
In the evening is Hardees Cruise in time here in Chester.
Of course since the Roadster was in show trim. it went.
After a bit in comes this cool 1957 Coupe that I didn't recognize.
Roland Peacock from up the road in Hopewell and his wife going out to dinner.
The reason I didn't recognize it was because it has had a facelift.
This is what it looked like at Classics On The Green last September 2014.
A short You Tube of Roland leaving the Cruise In.

It was a fun day.
Next Sunday I head for VIR and the IMSA Race.
I got a suction cup camera mount so I can do movies of our track time.
