Had lunch with two friends at one of their shops. This is his personal shop not a business. I took some random pics. Very cool stuff. I had a great time & hope to do things like this more often. Thank you for hosting Don & I while letting us take up some of your time.
This pic has a good story. I was talking to my brother & mentioned that my friend attained a lot of stuff from an old friend of my family. He asks "see if he has a set of Carrera engine tins brush painted with red rustoleum primer? If so those were mine & I painted them back in the early seventies when I was 15 or 16." When my brother sold his Carrera the tin never went with it. Sure enough, here was two pcs. of it. The rest of it was there but is out getting painted now.

That is quite the stash of 4-cam engines!! He could just about retire in style on that group alone! Interesting background story on the tins. Thanks for sharing these Mic!
