  • Goodwood breakfast meeting today

Great day today at Goodwood. A breakfsat meeting met up with guys from DDK forum and drove in line to the circuit. Lovely weatherm, a huge crowd and some lovely cars many ex USA. Below a link to about 5 or pages of the DDK thread. I took some pics of the speedster with Rudge knock offs and a nice windscree, I did take a photo of that which I will put on. The other photo's on this link are better than mine!

    Enjoy !

Thanks Roy for the link. Many nice 356s there including yours. Post any pics you have even if you don't think there good enough. Any pics are better than none.

How many total cars would you say showed up? It looks like a really big deal.

      Mic,

Yes I will post a few pics, but these digital camera's are so hard to to take good photo's with in the sun. You can't see the image that you want. I know if you spend the right money they work well but mine is just a small cheaper version.

Another link for you to browse ' pistonheads' which show the track the people, the public car parks, and some of our 15 or 16 cars that arrived. I met up with 4 other 58 and 59 356A'S and we drove in convoy to the track. These breakfast meetings are fine 8.00am to 11.30am long enough for me to have a chat a coffee and look around.

Thanks for posting Roy! A lot of nice cars on what seemed a perfect sunny day. It was great to see several shots of both you and your car in there too!

As promised a few of my photos from Sunday at Goodwood. Two red original speedsters arrived and parked side by side. I was interested to look at the windscreens after all the work by Justin. I never realised the complexity of this area until he welded up hios fabricated parts. The door garnish rails with the ferrules for the side screens also interested me. I have reduced the pixle size of the photos I wonder if they will all upload.
