Jeff, thanks for posting this and Welcome to our forum! This is one show I've been meaning to attend for the last two years and am really planning on going this time around. Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet you in person. Thanks and Welcome once again! JustinJustin Rio

Bumping this thread to the top as a reminder about Dana Point this Sunday. I hope to see some of you guys there. Last I knew there were a total of 68 cars being judged (I think the most ever was 73) and this doesn't even count the 356's that just drive in for 20 bucks. Should be an event to remember! And a heads up... I've seen a sneak preview of a 54 Speedster that is planning on attending. Holy sh!t, it's going to be a jaw dropper.trevorcgates@gmail.com
Engine # P66909... are you out there

What a show this was! My thanks to Jeff and the rest of the Socal 356 club for putting on this great event. Beautiful venue, Perfect California weather(boy are you guys spoiled down there!)and record turnout of the 356's from what I heard. Jeff or Trevor certainly has the accurate count on that. I had a really nice time catching up with Trevor, Jack, Tom and Dean. Great visiting with you guys!
...and now in no particular order the photos:

If looks to you like there is not enough room for turning radius with these front tires you would be right. This car won best outlaw and had to be driven up to the front and as she turned the wheel to the right to make the turn out the lip of the upper fender was literally flaring out. I thought it might start cracking the Paint/bondo. At first I thought I was seeing things but no I later heard someone else mentioning it. The fronts were decambered but that didn't help much.. Killer looking speedster none the less!
concourse judging in process
