LA Porsche week 2014

On our way back to the hotel Bruno decided to take us to a small car shop where, some years ago he went at the request of one of his customer to expertise a 356 for sale on the net
The car pictures looked very attractives
It was no longer the case when Bruno asked for the 356 to be put on an hydraulic lift to look below : big holes in the floor filled up with bondo

The showroom was quite attractive

In the showroom a very rare 1963 901 for sale 400.000 USD

Behind the 901 several Fuchs wheels for sale

We were allowed to visit the garden behind the shop with many projects in the rain

The light blue 911 is a 1969 912 who had been up dated with big pumbers to make it look younger
She was there to be put back into its original configuration

Always in the garden nicely decorated

another 901 a 1964 this time complete but dismantled for a restoration project (for sale 40.000 USD)

At the back of the garden a wood barn with some nice cars

Back to the hotel and dinner at Huttingtn beach to benefit from some Sun r

The Hilton Lax Lit and toys show
Carparc open house
True speed open house
European collectibles and Jim Liberty open houses

Last year we had nothing to buy so we only arrived at 9 AM to benefit from the cheap entry fee
This year Bruno had several enquiries to fullfill for some of his customers
We decided to go for the "early birds" entry at 30 USD each
Up at 5 AM to be at the Hilton Lax at 7 AM
Despite the hour the crowd was already there

Old toys and posters
and also several Companies specialized in Porsche parts refabrication
such as Sierra Madre, North Hollywood speedo, GT Werk,Alloy replica wheels, Stoddart, Shasta design etc
