Ya never know what you'll find. So today at the show which was held at Young VW/Mazda in Pa. A guy tells us we should check out the owners car which is buried in the back of the shop. A 65 C with (what I was told) 36,000 original miles. Sorry for the bad pics but the lights were off & it was dark. If any one is interested I was told it is for sale but I don't have a price.

Then on the way home we stopped off at a bar for a cold one and some eats. When we come out a nice older 911, late 60's maybe, with 95,000 original miles. The owner came in after us but never even inquired about our cars. I guess he just wanted to eat.

Only three P-cars today. Here is one. The other two were mine & my buds Beck. Overall a great day. My bud mapped out a nice hour or so backroad cruise to the show. I'm learning from him that cruising there really adds to the day. I usually take the fastest way to & from but now I'm liking the wandering way.
The below photo was sent to me from my local cruise night on Thursday. For sale 45k 1959 coupe. I've got a # if anyone is interested I know nothing about it.

Onto the VW pics.
Really cool Syncro 4wd vanagon.
How about a 2.0 inline four turbo in a bug? 415 hp at the rear wheels. 28# of boost, street driven.
I deleted a few water cooled photos by accident but a lot of cool GTIs, Jettas, & this one Audi which I always thought of as a modern 356. I know it's water cooled & front engine but the shape of the coupe?
& another turbo set up

I scored a nice mug for second place in "other than VW air" category. Sorry no pic of my car but you've seen it before. My bud Kevin got first with his Beck. There was maybe 15 categories so about 30 mugs got handed out.
Forgot to mention the show was put on by the Dutch Dubbers club & was a fundraiser for Alzheimer's so all profits went there. For food the local Boy Scouts sold hot dogs, chips & drinks & the Alzheimer's group held a bake sale so it was a win for everyone.Mic

Mic, great photos! The VW with the retro fitted rabbit motor was interesting and so was the "rat trap"! Your right Volks-rods are really cool! I'm sure you've seen Frank Regos's Volks-rod in the open topic forum. Looked like a really great event! Thanks for posting these I enjoyed them! Remember there is no such thing as too many event pics. JustinJustin Rio
