  • 2019 werks reunion amelia island

Last March I had a invitation to put 88971 my 1961 Roadster into a 2 car trailer and head for Amelia Island.
Long trip for a old guy from Richmond but worth it.

I had never been to the WERKS before and it had been in 1965 when we lived in Jacksonville that I had been to Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island with the Roadster.

There were 500 cars on the Omni Resort Fairways and 150 Porsches to be judged.
    11 in the 356 class.

I guess I have to figure out how to imbed the pics in the text like the old web site was.

Great Photos Dick! Thank you for sharing them!

      Tips for attaching photos:

Forget that Camera icon on the left hand side. That is for the photo carrousel option. I thought I liked that feature but not so much now. I may have it removed. Instead look to the right hand side of that bar and click on the icon above.

Then this bar will pop up on the lower left corner. Click on "upload attachments" and you'll be able to load them one at a time. However, on this system there is a 5 image limit per entry. Still looking into getting that increased.

Here is where this system is similar to the old one. When you're ready to display a photo put the curser back in the text box where you want it to show up and hit the "large" icon. You can use the others but I've found this one works the best. Its what I used here in this example. and in all my recent posts. If you're having trouble loading photos from your computer the file size maybe too large so be aware of that.

ID:	105795 Saw the post where JR took his roadster to Amelia Island. Since we are old shipmates I thought I would drop a line. Everyone around here is complaining about all the dead stinky whales washing up on the beach this month. Puget sound is the place they go to die, so thought I would go get one for JR.
        Pushed around since 1966.

GEEZI just saw this. Told Justin I had been on for a while. By Jeff Hanson's RA3B at Whidbey too!
Have you seen him up there.
I lost track of DK Ledgerwood.
He had some Toung cancer and it was hard for him to speak.
