    Hello All,
    If you are in Southern California during this weekends festivities, please come say hello at the LAX Hilton. I'll be at table 303 for the LA lit show. Come say hi and and chat about Porsches, restoration struggles, how expensive parts are, etc.

    Would love to meet more ABCGT'ers

                    Fri, sat, and Sun were all worth it despite the early wake up times. I'm accustomed to paying sellers fees everywhere and I thought the $100 table fee was reasonable. It ended up costing less than ebay and I had so much fun talking with and meeting people. I even said hello to Seinfeld, Magnus Walker, and probably other well renowned gents.

                    The sunday swap was also very good for me as I bought several small things at below market value in my opinion. Mostly things I needed for my 911 project.

                      At European Collectibles in Costa Mesa...Alan Surgi and his 356A coupe, 'Rommel' being repaired/fully restored...after a CA transporting company damaged the car hauling it back from E. coast Porsche Parade and tried to cover up major damage ($25m) with secret/botched repairs....I am writing a major article for all the Porsche publications. Big story!

                      Bill Watkins and fully restored 1955 Porsche Spyder at European Collectibles in Costa Mesa, CA. Bill raced against James Dean at Bakersfield in 1955. It was Bill's first SCCA race. Bill and I were both vintage Arnolt-Bristol racers and good friends since the early 1980's. Whatta guy!
