    Yes Justin,
    I stitched up the top and built the top frame.
    I am lucky enough to be able to do all my own upholstery.
    I bagged it a couple of years ago, might not be the best Cobra
    in the world but I think it could be the lowest. Glad you liked

      I like the car and most important you do. Very nice build there is nothing like enjoying your own work. I to do most of my own work except for the interior, I was spoiled by having a mother who's hobby was interior work and she was a artist at it. the other thing I haven't done is automatic tranny's mainly because I've never owned a car with one.
      Just remember it may not be the best Cobra in others eye or judges but they don't really count as long as you enjoy her. Congradulations on a great build. George

        Very Impressive Gordon! I fully appreciate what you've done here. Building a cobra Kit back in the 80's was a true challange. You basically got a body and were left to your own devices to build everything else like a chassis. Today you can get anything you want in a cobra replica; Limitless Options are so readily avaialable today just the money part is the toughest challange I would say. Very impressed in particular with your top frame. It really compliments the car. I thought this was a one off unit because the other offerings I have seen look nowhere near as nice as yours. Really pute me in mind of a Lowbow speedster top frame. I have had this old Kit car article of this replica Cobra that really blew me away. It is pictured below. Is your body an Arntz body as well? BTW: you are a brave man having an old Rabbit as a tow vehicle. The CV joints back then were not the most reliable units.

        The frame is what really impressed me. It was roadrace sports car but was tubbed like a drag car; I just fell in love with this thing! As you can tell I still like it and have kept this article all these years.

          Your right, Arntz is the one that got me having the itch for a Cobra.
          I bought my body from a fiberglass man that would sell the body with no inner panels and I formed the inner panels out of aluminum. Foot wells,
          floors, tunnel and so on.
          Just something I had to do and was pleased the way it turned out.
