  • My 74 Karmann Ghia Cabriolet

Thought I would post a few pics on my 1974 Ghia Cab. I bought her brand new in late September of 1974. I had owned a 1970 Ghia cabriolet and when I read that VW would stop producing the Ghia at the end of 1974, I decided to buy a new one to last me the rest of my life! So I bought this car at Montgomery Motors, the VW dealer in Rockville, Maryland. I still enjoy driving her and had her out this past week several times. She has a bit of rust, but is basically stock and is a survivor. Except for the first year, she spent her entire life garaged. I took these pics along the James River here in Richmond, VA. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Great photos Pat! I was just admiring what beautiful country side you guys have down there in Richmond in Dicks PCA photo post. This is a very well preserved 1 owner Ghia Pat. Original paint, top and interior? Those are aftermarket wheels right? Great photos! Thanks for posting up your pride and joy! Justin
