  • VW Show in Boulder City 4-1-17

A buddy told me there was a VW show going on over the hill in Boulder City so I checked it out on the off chance there might be a 356 or other Porsche out there. A suprising turnout of Local Vw's but not a Porsche to be found not even a replica Speedster. It still wasn't a total bust as it was a beautiful afternoon in the park with some really interesting and clean cars. Take a look.

Never seen a Kubelwagen in person before and this one seemed extremely authentic.

That Kubelwagen radio hole looks very similar to PreA.

I see it too Phil; lots of similar DNA in those early years.

Like everyone else seeing this, I keep thinking, "Gee, I used to have one of those."
Fun show. Didn't know such a great park facility existed in Boulder City...

Its a really neat time capsule of a town with this old park as the center piece. The annual "art in the park" is the big draw but a car show or two does happen regularly.

COOL PICTURES I've been a VW fan since the early 60s. every time i see pictures like this I start shopping. I've got to get the 356 on the road then maybe.

Thanks for posting the pics. Looks like a great day and show. It's nice to see such a variety of cars that are at VW shows.
