Tom, I lived in Munich from 1949-51--that is where I saw my first 356! I live in Richmond, Virginia now.

              Tom

Actually, on a trip to Munich in 2000, we found the house I lived in and the owners (a physician and his wife) gave me and my family a tour. It looked just like I remembered it from 50 years earlier except it was smaller--of course I was only 8 when we left Munich to return to the US. It was a great experience seeing the house again a half century later.

Then, in 2006, we returned to Munich and Salzburg and visited the Porsche Automuseum of Helmut Pfieffhofer in Gmund, Austria. What a nice trip--drove over Gros Glockner.

So yes, we have returned and would like to come to Munich again before I die.

WOW! A lot of money but not really too surprising as Wevo and Ohlins are both known for premium asking prices for their components. I'll have to think this one. Thanks for the info Tom and please keep us posted on any other cool 356 parts your developing and or offering. Justin
