                • Brand new RSK drove straight into the back of another race car and smashed the nose which was rebuilt wth this abomination by Ernie Vihl of New Jersey. Warren Eads later owned this car....

                        • By August 16th 1959 not less than six off 718 RSK entered the Gaisberg hill climb race part of the European Championship driven by
                          Wolfgang Berg Von Trips (1958 European Champion)
                          Richard Von Frankenberg
                          Ernst Vogel
                          Heini Walter
                          Edgar Barth
                          Tomas Losinger

                          The race was won by Ernst Vogel ahead of Heini Walter
                          Wolfgang Barth won the 1959 European hillclimb Championship and Heini Walter finish 2nd both on an RSK

                            He won this Championship in 1960 and 1961, always with Porsche
