          That front brake drum assembly has been worked on in the past. I presume you are aware of that. The previous owner must have spent a fair bit of cash on those drums. Good luck with welding.

              Thanks. The backing plates are converted original ones.....
              Can I use 5,5 inch wheels on the back instead of spacers to compensate for the gt drums?

              While working on the front I noticed that someone has worked on the bumper bracket holes.
              Are the dimensions the same as the ones in the rear end? Approx 55 x 30 mm?

                My 58 cab has for the front 54x35 and my rear are 56X38 these are approximate, untouched I believe ?

                  You could run a 5.5 wide wheel with a more positive offset on the rear to help even out the wheel track but for that to work

                  you'll need to run something like these negatively offset Carrera wheels which where set to compensate for that extra 20mm of front GT drum width.

                              Here's a few detailed shots of that rear apron. Its a little wavy and hair lipped but its original. Hope this helps
