Going to Germany next month, help please

Hey all,
I'm going to Germany Next month for a last minute business trip and will have time to play while there. Any suggestions for visiting Porsche? One of the days we are going to the Nurernburgring. Suggestions on renting a car for a few laps? So excited please let me know, also any advise on what NOT to do?

In the northern part you should visit the Prototyp Museum in Hamburg.
A must for any Porsche enthusiast !!

Prototype! That might be feasible. We are staying in Munich for most of the trip but the trains are so fast and dependable that nothing isn't to far.
It appears that I might enjoy a few fast laps with a professional driver instead...
