  • Watches and 356

Just met my mate who has a 356 too, and the topic drifted to watches...

Our question was, which watch would suit a 356 owner best? Your thoughts guys!

I always associate Heuer watches with Porsche from their joint efforts in formula 1 in the '80s.

I don't wear a watch so I can't offer an opinion here Murugesh. What brand do you prefer; I'm going to take a guess and say Breitling?

            Justin,
I actually am more of a Rolex guy. My blue YM suits the colour of my 356.

However, my mate said that i should be wearing watches with a leather strap. I guess to each his own.

I have way too many watches - more than days of the week. One of my favs is my Jean Marcel Targa 911 watch. Love the Porsche font and it was limited to 911 pieces

Thomas on DDK is a heuer collector and although I wasn't a fan they are starting to grow on me. I'm wearing a racing Montreal today (which I got from him).

                Here is his site http://www.heuerheritage.co.uk/#

The other watch I wear most, when going out, is a Omega Chronostop which is simple and classic. However, because I cycle into work and do a bit of running I normally wear a cheap digital watch
