Here's a cross section of the door seals I purchased from Stoddard about 25 years ago. Is this what you are referring to?

Yes, I do like the way they fit so far. As I said these are over 25 years old and have no cracks etc. so I do plan on cleaning off any overspray and using them when the car is finished.
