Here is the cockpit of my Roadster. The car has been in storage since the Fall of 1994 but is coming back onto the road any day now. In fact I drove it for the first time in all those years last week- but only on the dirt road next to my mechanic's house. Exciting times!

The car is now mechanically perfect. It has a rebuilt bone-stock Super engine, rebuilt original transmission, and everything else has been gone through to the highest standard.

Still to be installed is my real steel GT seat for the driver and a headrest for the passenger's stock seat.

Notice the rare slotted-spoke dished VDM wood wheel- a factory option. Bruce Crawford restored it and, as everybody knows, his work is at the absolute top.

My plan is to leave the body and paint alone and re-do the interior. The last thing I want to do is make the car too nice to drive and have it disappear for a few more years.

Great shot- really nice seats. Whenever I click on this thread the first picture is of a stunning light blue dash with red interior and wooden steering wheel. Still my favourite shot on this thread - - something about the colour combo in the cockpit is just eye candy.
