The white and blue 2.7 RS and the blue 914/6 racing shown on the Museum prospectus were not in display but still some interesting cars

In conclusion, if one day you have the luck to drive from Salzbourg to Lubliana don't forget to stop to the Helmuth Pfeifhofer private museum
                        You won't

                            Gerard

Nice photos! Thanks for posting them. We visited the museum in 2006 and the spider was there at that time. Was the long tailed Andretti 917 still there? I see the beer garden has been spruced up to when we were there--see my photos on this forum.

                              Hi Pat

                              Thanks for your comments
The Andretti's father and son 917 was not there neither the second 906 or 910 which appear on the museum brochure herewith
I believe these 2 cars belong to the Porsche Stuttgart museum and where only there of a short period
                              I bought some postal cards
One was the non restored 550 spyder already mentionned
Another one was Helmut Pfeifhoffer himself at the wheel of the Porsche 356-01 in front of his museum
Everuybody know that this car is part of the Porsche Stuttgart museum

                                Folks,
On October 27 I am driving down to Raleigh, NC to the NC Art Museum to see the 'Seducing Speed' exhibit.
I am thinking some of the show will be cars from Stutgart.
I am passing up the $130 charge to see the Ingram collection the evening before.
Vic Elford is supposed to attend and talk to our Region on the 27th.
                                Pics in November.
                                Dick
