    • So, safe to say that she never finished a Carrera Panamericana in a Porsche?
Nonetheless, quite an achievement for a man, of the era, let alone a woman. I wish I done that...
Thanks for the pics!!! Any of the Chryslers?

PS: Al Roker is "going full analog, baby!" this week. Gotta love a dial telephone, a typewriter, LP records, cassette players, and chalk board weather maps! What a guy...

          Vance

Did quite a lot of search trying finding 1950-51 and 52 pics of Jacqueline Evans
Amazing that Jacqueline became famous when she start racing Porsche.
Indeed her 1953 Eva Peron tribute car has certainly helped her gaining notoriety despite the fact she was never classified although she did finish the 1953 race but out of time
In 1950 all 100 + starting cars were US except two French cars a Delaye and a Talbot Lago

1951 is the first year where European cars (mainy Italians as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo etc) discover this race
Jacqueline raced with a Chrysler Windsor in 1950

                  • I believe it said it was a Speedster with a later front end. I'll try and find that source again.
