            Thanks Andrew! There are two vantage points in your post of this wreck I had not seen before. Now that I see them I find all the more incredible that this Spyder was actually repaired. A fresh chassis and body was rolled under the original VIN# I'm sure...
            Also a lucky thing for the driver that this car wasn't RHD..

                Do you know more about the litle dent?
                It seeams massive on the 718 and just a smaller one the 356....
                More like it was run over by a truck
                Did the driver step out or was maybe carried/cut out?

                    Sepp Greger was the pilot. After the accident he didn't race for 7 months due to his injuries. He started racing again in a 356 until his 718 was repaired in June 1962
