It is a sweet effect - common in Photoshop - i believe it is called Poster edges - I have used it also - and when done just right (as here) it can be a very sweet effect

        have fun

        Happy New year

                    • For those who don't know that Sonoma Coast photo is one of 4 pix Joel has in the 2016 New/Old 356 calendar I just purchased from Block's Books. Bill Block is a good guy and a 356 vendor I support whenever I can.

                            • Joel

Tell us about your hubcaps--were they nipple caps with dummy knockoffs added or are they real? I like them.

                              • Hi Pat,
Yes, nipple caps treated to a hole saw and knock offs available from the usual VW sources. My take on the old pop on spinners for 356's available back in the day. I call them ' Fudge Rudge ' caps. Not everyone can afford a set of Rudge and they aren't particularly user friendly with their narrow width and great weight. Currently running the painted rim, moon, trim ring setup seen below.
                                Cheers,
                                Joel
