WOW! What a cool find that was! Looks like fresh water and has been submerged for quite some time. I'm sure there is not much to weld to as it Looks to be rotten through and through. Thanks Vance!

Looks like a garden sculpture to me. I'd do some time-lapse every 6mo. or so, and make a foto series of the devolving corpse.
