This new and very expensive quarter window knob is unusable. As seen in the photos, the hole is placed too high on the knob.

You can see that the hole for the set screw in the reproduction knob is 2 mm higher on the body of the knob.


This places the set screw too high on the post and causes the set screw to hit the threads of the post rather than the space below where there is a recess on the post for the set screw to sit. This is a manufacturing error, and virtually makes the knob unusable.
