  • Visit to Herman & Walker in Hickory NC.

Just spent a month back east, stopped by to visit Tim Herman for lunch. I thought I would share a couple phone pictures of the shop. He as a body bumper cab that he just picked up, and it was all there except the rusty part. Original motor, numbers match, very good bones, in a container for 40 years.

Body bumper cab project. I remember these from the late 60s split windshield cab.

Just a great shop, Tim has been at this for as long as I have, but he knows much more, espically on 4 cams. Has the shop back log down to about six years.

Another coupe in process in the metal shop. Some of the best fabrication I have ever seen.

more to follow. But I love this blue coupe. I would almost trade my twin grill for this one. Absolutely perfect. It was better than the shrimp and grits I had for lunch.
