Guys,
I know that my friend Pat Daily contributed to this thread.
It is with the deepest regret to inform you that Pat passed away on Saturday December 9, 2017 from a abdominal aneurism.
Today I received a e-mail from Pat's wife Sandie to let me know.
I had just seen Pat on Saturday December 2, 2017 at the Richmond, VA Cars and Coffee where we had our 356s.
This is like losing a brother what with our Navy Backgrounds.

Very, Very sad news indeed. My sincerest condolences to his family for their loss. Pat has been a great contributor on this site and I for one will miss him very much. Rest in Peace Mr. Daily. JR, perhaps think about a dedicated thread to him?

Oh Man, I am very sorry to hear that Pat is gone. I never met him in person but you just knew he was a genuine, good guy all around. He was always very supportive of this site and I will always be grateful to him for that. My deepest sympathies to his family for their unexpected loss.
Rest in Peace Pat you will be missed!
