    Pat,
Only after it got the '48 Merc Block bored out .030, Dunn 3/4 race cam and Smitty GlasPaks.
I learned about the importance of Torque Wrenchs after popping a rod building that engine.
ALL lug nuts on my cars and truck are torqued to the correct values.
    Another lesson from Lufteknic.

    Pat,
In 1954 for Spring Break four of us left Dearborn, MI and drove that 1941 Ford Convert to Miami Beach then on down to Key West.
That was the first time I ever saw NAS Key West.
When we got to Miami Beach we had no place to stay so we drug our sleeping bags out and slept in the park in South Miami Beach across the street from The Colony Hotel.
Next day one of the guys went in and got us rooms for $1.00 / night.
It is now a high priced So Miami Beach Hotel and night spot.

We each put $25 in the fuel kitty and made it.
On the way home the top blew off so I strapped a pup tent shelter half on and continued home.
Went to Sears and got a new top for $50 or so.
    More memories!
    TINS!
