As I have not attended this show myself I don't know if this 550 was lended by his owner for the show or offered for sale

Great video with Hans Herrmann - never actually seen that one! He is driving 550-0048, but he never drove this particular Spyder and it was never entered into the Mille Miglia...

Two Belgian guys named Jean Claude Kaufmann and Jean Marc Piret have took part to the 2017 Historical Tour Auto with this 550







Despite a lost wheel due to a drum brake exploded during the Le Mans session the first day, this car saw the finish line after that a new drum be transported from Italy to Le Mans during the night

The 2 gent drivers are Belgian but the car has a French registration
Do you know this car ?
On all the presentation papers the car is said to be a 58
I had the opportunity to discuss with one of the pilot during the Val de Vienne race track session who told me it wa

The only picture I have of 550 A-119 is one taken years ago (November 2010)

I am pretty sure it is 550A-0121. It has recently competed in the Optic 2000 rally with Jean-Claude KAUFFMAN/Jean-Marc PIRET as drivers

Even though they look the same, 550A-0119 does not have the pinstripe on the darts and has a chrome bezel around the front indicator light. 550A-0121 also has a plate around the oil grill in the nose
