59/60 and 61- super90 engines??

Hello all

Just been wandering round derwhites amazing archive of information.

I have a 1960 s90 coupe and I noticed in some sales documents in 59/60 s90's are listed as 1500 motors, where as later 61- s90's are listed as 1600's

Is this correct in that there was an increase or displacement or merely a typo??

Typo. All were 1600 cc. Super 90's went from 60 to 63..

Yes, typo. My B-in-law has a very early '60 S-90, actually assembled in '59, complete with non-counterweighted crank and long-skirt 1600cc pistons to match. Of course, crank broke...
