A surprising victory, against worthy candidates. I wish them all well to finish their projects.

This should be exciting to see a project move along so quickly. The carrot that was dangled is motivational, the car certainly deserving, as they all were. Congratulations, now let's get restoring. Looking forward to see you posting updates!

OK, time to gather your posse....er, your team.

I'm guessing the "ARV" means average retail value which is likely a moving target. Plan quickly and carefully, as I just did a bill for a customer tonight and checked the invoice price of certain parts from a few months ago against the current website price and about.....well, you get the picture...prices are on the rise all the time!

You have a team lawyer, right, Bill?

You have an International team of coaches, sponsored by Justin. (that means post here first on progress, THEN to Stoddard so they can forward the progress reports "over there.")

Maybe someone can help determine which body parts vended by Stoddard are best suited for your project and which ones aren't as suitable as those from other sources? (if, of course, you dare!) You know, so you don't use precious time or financial cap making things fit ....... seriously, all vendors have QC problems with a FEW items, or so I've heard....

Jus' sayin'.................where's P.B. Tweeks when ya need 'em as a foil?

          -Anon.

Team lawyer? Well, if you need one, I'm here Trevor. I remain stoked you won this and that's all I care about. I await pix of YOUR car on the Friday's at Jack's thread. What the heck, bring the thread here with you if you want.

OK, let me be the one to throw out the anchor for Trevor.....family first, then friends, then a real whole of life and then hobbies. Pace yourself and balance the prize, fame and notoriety with what will be the most important parts of your life in the future. Prioritize with care.

I say this based on my wife finally telling me this past weekend that friends refer to her as "the Porsche widow." I dared not say; "Yeah, so what's your point?"

Above all, strive to have FUN!

I look forward to seeing updates and plans for this project. Simonsen rockers will save you time and money. I'm sure others can speak freely here as to what metal panels do and do not work well.

Poor Trevor. We've hijacked your thread now and I'm at least partially responsible. Nevertheless Tom, I'll note that woodies do not rust and therefore the TV lady with the come hither look may not be needed.
