Now that i'm comfortable with my crank problem i'm on to the next step. I have sent my pistons (NPR big bore set)to Competition engineering to have the domes cut to 22* and balanced. I should get them back soon I hope. so my question is, I'm taking a piece of 1" Plexiglas and boring a recess apr. 1/2 deep to match the cylinder. I will C/C this then fix it to a cylinder assembly on the engine block. then rotate the piston to TDC and take another C/C reading the difference should be the dome area of the piston? with this dome area and the bore, stroke, and head C/C I should have all the figures I will need?
