Kardex dates

Guys,

Please advise our Registry friends that neither kardexes nor COAs show production dates. But... for the 4-cam cars...the production dates are in the new book.

Looking at a friends Kardex, just below the VIN is a box with a date. How do you determine the wheel dates everyone is after? A guess in the production range?

No, I was not able to get a copy. The little Xerox copy has a line across the whole page diagonally. Factory tags, but missing that one near the gas tank. I thought it might have a date on that tag.
The Kardex has a date under the left side. Is that the delivery date?

Well---kardex dates mostly do relate to dates of warranty and when the car left the factory.

If you send me the chassis number---I may be able to tell you the actual production date. From that, the wheel dates should be earlier.
