            • Nice Pat. Are those RC, FF or ? models. Remind me of my many young years
building UC and FF models to fly and sometime flay...

              • 356Jager,

The models are electric RC and Free Flight -- I enjoy both kinds of flying--free flight takes a bit more skill to trim the plane to fly by itself. I have been building models on and off for 65 years now--started when I was 8.

                • Pat,
My first one was a balsa and paper kit of a Stinson Voyager. I was 6.
Most memorable was a 4' wingspan Bird Dog, gas powered free fight that
I built in my buddy Skippy's clubhouse, an old chicken coop on Whidbey
Island, Washington. Flew beautifully, trimmed in to rise in large circles
until the fuel ran out and it glided down. Caught a thermal one day and was
never seen again.. A really great hobby.
                  Cheers,
                  Joel

                    • Today at the 20th Richmond Porsche Meet. Me with Fast Frieda (Heron Grey) and Dick Pittman with his red roadster. Also me with my daughter Shannon and me with my wife in the white slacks. Sadly, out of abut 100 cars only 2 356's showed up.
