Agree on the photoshop, but don't understand why he didn't remove the obviously late truck from the background, just seems out of place and breaks the old European vibe.

This A from the P Museum has likely been posted before, but worth another look.

Joel, I have also thought about the van in the picture. Had the picture as my computer desktop photo for a while after I first saw it. I think the guy who created it stuck the van in the background so as to say this car has been re-worked by a pro photographer. Maybe it's his van or his company van.

Maybe the same guy? Who is this guy?

Joel a 1956 Lago Green Metallic Coupe restored by Gene Galpin in the early 80's , from Fresno Ca. Purchased by the factory for their Museum from Gene along with a new 911 of Genes choice . They flew Gene to Germany where a special presentation and party in his honor was given.

Every year the 356 Club Porsche France, the equivalent in France to your 356 Registry, organise a rallye called "rallye d'Automne" ie 3 days of touring in a lovely part of France with nice hotels and restaurants
This year the meeting was held south of Paris in a region called "Nivernais" (from Nevers the nearest large city and also not far from the Magny Cours formula one race track) region reknown for their white wines Sancerre, Chablis etc
