All of you know that at the beginning ie from 1948 to 1952 Porsche was more a research company than a car constructor
Without the help of a lot of small coachbuilders such as Reutter,
Austro-Tatra,Karmann Karroserie, d'Ieteren, Drauz and many others, it is possible that the Porsche story will have ended quickly
What may be you don't know is that during this same laps of time 1948/1952 a lot of small coachbuilders started to built sport cars based on the VW chassis and mecanic
