Attended the Boys Republic/ Steve McQueen car show today in Chino Hills, CA. There were plenty of muscle cars, motorcycles, VW and Porsche's

I don't know who the lucky person that owns this one but it was a stunning 1973.5 911 T that my pictures do no justice to. This show has really grown over the years. I hope it's custodian doesn't mind me posting but it was a standout!

I noticed that you ditched the rubber baby bumpers and the sugar scoop headlights on you '73. Me too, makes the car look a lot cleaner.

Wow, those are some serious lights!
The Hella 118s are just fog lights for the US market. Apparently in Europe the 118s could be ordered as true driving lights and were much brighter.

Hella 118's are nice. over 128's
But OSCARS' are better and over AIRPORTERS' better yet. The stop sings light up at 500' in the daylight.

Something about the simplicity of the 118's lights. They make the car. Your car looks great.

I was lucky, my '73.5 came with fog lights originally, so the switch, relay, brackets, etc. were already there. I just had to source a pair of original Hella 118s, which of course was not easy.

Thanks Steve! The real find was the fog light switch. I was extremely fortunate to source one. The installation by CPR was perfect.
